For the tens of times we stop by at Ya Udah Bistro. But this is for the first time for this occasion: Sunday Morning Brunch.
The tables, as most of our visit here, were sparsely populated. Nevertheless, there always people reserving a table. And as usual, we picked a table next to the backyard. The ceiling fan adds to the Sunday morning breeze of Jakarta's hot summer.
Among the 3 breakfasts specialty menu, we choose the Swiss Man Breakfast and English Breakfast. I decided to skip the 3rd one: American Breakfast, which is easier to find. Despite of the small number of patrons, the chef took a while to prepare the dish. We know that he didn't neglect it though, thanks to the open kitchen.
The Swiss Man Breakfast is Swiss Rösti friend with ham and cheese, sunny side up egg, sausage and streaky bacon. Two slice of farmer's bread is served to complement, with pineapple jam, butter and honey. I’m happy with the Rösti, bus especially happy with the egg. There’s nothing beats a breakfast with sunny side up egg with salt and pepper.
The English Breakfast is two sunny-side up egg, sliced potatoes, sausage and streaky bacon as well. A glass of cold orange juice is served as well. The potatoes are a little bit tasteless, but little could go wrong with the other dish. And the egg, ehm, have I told you about breakfast and sunny side up egg?
Done with the foods, we still have drinks to finish, thanks to all-you-can-drink coffee and tea. Slowly, between the wind breezes, I heard the music which I think very out of place. Why, in such a wonderful morning, they should play the Glen Medeiros' Nothing Gonna Change my Love for You or Air Supply's Goodbye?
Two sticks of Marlboro later, we paid our bill. We left with new opinion for Ya Udah: they can have a better selection of music.

Since thy're been moving and closed several times, I'm getting lost about their last location...

Hi Godz,
I've just updated the post, with link to their website. There you can find their address and phone number
It is now located within waling distance from Hotel Cemara. From their old location at Jalan Jaksa, turn left at Jalan Wahid Hasyim. Then at the traffic light, go straight. you will see the familiar orange color of the restaurant.
A Swiss man will balk at the Swiss Man Breakfast. :D
